Digicel International and the Digicel Foundation have partnered to create and launch a donation platform to raise funds for families in Haiti affected by earthquakes and tropical storms. As part of this initiative, Digicel International will match up to USD$10,000 in donations to support Haitians and provide immediate relief to the people in the South of Haiti.
Donations can be made to three non-profit organisations: Hope for Haiti, an organisation that works to reduce poverty in Haiti and support children and families; Health Equity International, a leader in providing essential health services to those in southern Haiti; or Fokal, a foundation that provides the structures needed for democratic establishment. The donation platform will be open for as long as necessary to collect funds to aid those in need.
